The Pond House is located on 10 acres, south of Woodstock, in the mountains with some of Vermonts best views . The Pond House can surprise and delight all through the year. Sledding on our torch lit path, evening skating by the bonfire, back country ski touring with a picnic lunch(optional $10pp), close to three major ski resorts,candle lit dinner with wine (included in the rates) and breakfast by the fire. Summer brings swimming in our spring fed pond-or just relaxing on a float, dinner al fresco on the patio, overlooking our herb an flower gardens. Biking on some of New Englands best routes, hiking, birding or antiqueing.We can even accomodate your horses in our new barn with turnout.

And nothing can compare to a Vermont Autumn in the mountains. Our dinners are prepared with a Northern Italian flare, herbs and salad greens from our gardens. Breakfast and dinner are each three course meals with rave reviews from all of our guests.

Our rooms all have private baths,some with antique marble sinks and showers, and queen size beds with down comforters, bowls of fresh fruit and flowers, wide pumpkin pine floors and gobs of good reading.
