Located
in Vermont's beautiful central lakes region, the Echo Lake Inn was
originally built in 1840 as a Victorian summer hotel. Today it remains
one of the few authentic country inns operating in Vermont. The inn's
rich heritage includes frequent visits by President Calvin Coolidge,
Thomas Edison, and other historic figures. With 26 rooms (some with
jacuzzi and fireplace), the Echo Lake Inn is ideal for weddings and
special functions.
Relax by the fireplace or on the porch
and enjoy a cocktail or a selection from our extensive wine list. Dine
in a casual country setting and treat yourself to cuisine prepared
with painstaking attention to detail by the Inn's award-winning
Executive Chef and his staff. Featured in Bon Appetit, Gourmet, and
Vermont Magazine, and the Wine Spectator, the inn's restaurant is
popular with discerning diners from the Okemo valley and beyond.
An
international visitor says, "Our stay at your Inn was one of the
highlights of our holiday visit to the US!" Vermont Magazine
notes that "Dinner here is something of an event...a relaxing
escape from urban-and world-weariness." Restaurants of New
England calls the Echo Lake Inn "Positively enchanting!"
Begin
your day with our renowned country breakfast, then enjoy the area's
activities. Play a round of golf, a game of tennis, relax by the pool,
or tour by bicycle or on horseback. Whatever your pleasure, the
hospitality of the Echo Lake Inn awaits you!
