Imagine....you don't have to travel all the way to Europe to enjoy the hospitality it is famous for ! You find it right here, in the heart of the Green Mountains at the Deerfield Valley Inn.

In 1885 John Davis built his home, which Deerfield Valley Innwas to be the last one built in West Dover, from lumber worked in his water mill located across the street at that the time. The Inn still has much of the original wax rubbed ash encasements and mill work. Over the years new wings were added to the original building. You will find the Inn on the National Register of Historic Places.

The home was converted in 1952 into the first Inn in Mount Snow Area, which opened its original downhill trails at the time. Many of the individually and tastefully decorated guest rooms have their own wood burning fireplace and sitting areas. All rooms have private bathrooms, cable TV and radio alarm clocks. The living room of the fully licensed Inn invites you to relax and enjoy the comforts of true Southern Vermont hospitality.

Through out the Inn, local Vermont and New England artists display their work, often reflecting the beauty and charm Vermont offers through all its seasons. Many of the paintings and photography are for sale and make a special gift to a loved one.
