Winter season offers deep white snow that blankets the La Sal Mountains. Winter in the La Sal Mountains is a snowmobilers, crosscountry skiers and snow shoers delight. The resort offers day tours through the La Sal Mountain Express to Monument Valley, Canyonlands, Arches National Parks, Mesa Verde, Telluride or Ouray, Colorado. La Sal Mountain Express offers airport service to/from Grand Junction, Cortez, Colorado or Moab, Utah. Your Innkeepers can schedule river trips on the Colorado or Dolores rivers. The drive to Moab/Arches or Canyonlands is spectacular. The warm summer temperatures in the desert can be tempered by a morning hike in the national parks, followed by a hike or bike ride in the cool alpine country of the La Sal Moutains. Mt.
