Located in the quiet elegance of the King William Historic District, this lovely, 1892 Victorian is complete with gabled roof, verandas, front and back porches, crystal chandeliers, fireplaces, exquisite hand-carved woodwork, and deep-soaking clawfooted tubs.

We are just a short walk, or trolley ride, from all the exciting downtown sites such as the Alamo, Rivercenter Mall, Institute of Texan Cultures, Tower of the Americas, La Villita, El Mercado, and the Spanish Governor's Palace. The Convention Center as well as many fine shops and restaurants are all within comfortable walking distance.

Step into our foyer and step back in time to 1892. The original, hand-carved woodwork of native Texas loblolly pine glows with the warm and unmistakable patina of old, well-cared for wood. The stained glass windows and fireplace are also original to the house.

The parlor, with its floor to ceiling library, couches, wing back chairs, chess set and fireplace, is perfect for relaxing. The daily morning paper is available here for our early risers to peruse before breakfast. Also on hand is visitor information and magazines with maps and suggestions of things to see and do.

We serve a full, sit-down breakfast daily (at 9:00 am unless other arrangements are made). So our guests are gently awakened by the wonderful breakfast aromas of fine coffee, fragrant breads, crisp bacon or spicy sausage, and an almost endless variety of homemade quiches, pancakes, muffins and cobblers. Our menus are planned so that a different meal may be enjoyed each morning. Complimentary sodas and homemade cake, cookies, or other snacks are always available. A nice liqueur is provided in each guest room and for special occasions we offer complimentary champagne.

To insure that our inn meets your high standards, we have been inspected and approved by the American Bed & Breakfast Association (3 crowns), Historic Accommodations of Texas (Excellent), American Automobile Association (3 diamonds). In addition, we are members of the San Antonio Bed & Breakfast Association, Professional Association of Innkeepers International, and the San Antonio Concierge Association.
