San Antontio's Riverwalk Inn is San Antonio's most unique bed and breakfast inn. Sitting on the banks of the famous San Antonio Riverwalk we are just a few minutes walk from all the excitement that the River City has to offer, but you will probably just want to hang around the inn enjoying its ambience and basking in "country elegance".

Follow the old Mission Trail along the banks of the San Antonio River to the spot where authentic 19th century tow story log homes stand nestled among native pecan and poplar trees.

Five, two-story log homes, relocated from Tennessee have been combined to form the two buildings of the Riverwalk Inn. The log homes were built from cottonwood trees which mean "Alamo" in Spanish and date c.1842 (six years after the Battle of the Alamo). The homes were brought to San Antonio log by log an reconstructed to their original authenticity. It is the Riverwalk Inn's mission to have our guests relive the history of the old San Antonio, through the lifestyle of our Tennessee brothers, Davy Crockett and James Bowie... who fought for Texas independence at the Battle of the Alamo. Each of our guest rooms has been named in honor of these heroic people. The Riverwalk Inn, decorated in period antiques creates an ambience of "country elegance."

Under the twinkling stars on a warm Texas evening, relax on the Porch, sip a cool glass of freshly squeezed lemonade and hear a story teller weave tales of a bygone era. During the winter months, curl up beneath a cozy Early American quilt and gaze at the flames as they crackle and dance from the hearth of your private fireplace.

Rock 'til you drop on our eighty foot porch lined with rocking chairs. Enjoy Aunt Martha's evening desserts and local story tellers that join us for our expanded continental breakfast.
