The Laurie Anna was built in 1855 by A.M. Urquhart. He was the grandson of Allen Urquhart (one of the founders of Jefferson). The home was built for his daughter Mary Jane.

Eastlake styling with wrap-around porch with Balustrade and Spindle Frieze. Built with zig-cut bargeboards. Commissioned as a Texas Historic Landmark in 1985.
