architectural significance, the popular Moody Gardens, the tall ship Elissa and
Mardi Gras.
Romance is our specialty with an unmistakable touch
of impeccable luxury. Away At Sea is a quiet retreat where time will slow to an
even keel allowing you and that special someone to relax and enjoy a bit of
restful solitude. The home is finely appointed with period antiques, adorned
with fine linens and bedding, and furnished with comfortable upholstered chairs
and ottomans...perfect for curling up and reading your favorite book. Rooms are
intentioanlly without TV's or telephones, although you will find them in the
commor area if you so desire. BAsk in the lavish jacuzzi offered in the Oriental
Room while sipping champagne...the ultimate indulgence. There are also
complimentary bicycles for those who enjoy a leisurely ride through the historic
area for a view of some of the wonderful old homes...many of these buildings and
mansions have been meticulously renovated with great care and pride.
You'll be served refreshments upon your arrival and
breakfast at your leisure. Saturday and Sunday breakfasts typically consist of a
full and sumptuous multicourse breakfast complete with personal service and a
special delectable treat served tableside each morning. Weekday mornings, awake
to find a delectable continental buffet, filled with a variety of mouthwatering
temptations. These meals are delicious and guaranteed to fill and satisfy even
the heartiest of appetites.
