Our Championship course is a par 72, 6623 yard private course open to our members, groups, reciprocal Club members, El Cid Mega Resort guests and participating partner hotel guests.

The 1320 room El Cid Mega Resort which is located on the beach features four hotels, 14 restaurant and bars, eight swimming pools, jacuzzi, group and convention facilities for 10 to 1500 persons, a water sports center, a sailing school, a yacht club and marina which can accommodate most boats and yachts, and over 750 beautiful residential villas.

The resort also encompasses the Country Club and 18 hole golf course with its dual directional practice driving range, the John Jacob's Golf School, putting greens, 19 hole course (18 holes plus 1 practice hole), Club House with its Prime Rib Restaurant and 19th Hole Bar, heated olympic swimming pool, tennis academy with 13 tennis courts, fitness center and spa, pro shop, caddies, cart rentals, and banquet facilities for groups.

The course is known for its excellent views on holes number 5, 7, 8, 12 & 18 and its lakes on holes 5, 8, 9, 12, 14 & 16. The challenging course is situated on a biological reserve that also features deer, turtles, fish, exotic birds, and crocodiles in a a natural setting. The course hosts the Mazatlan International Tournament for Amateurs each November that attracts 350 golfers from Mexico, the United States and Canada.
