Located in a restored 150 year old German schoolhouse, the Barnyard Inn sits on a two and one half acre wooded site overlooking beautiful countryside. Owners Jerry and Pam Pozniak have furnished their inn with antiques and family heirlooms. The forty foot living room boasts a corner fireplace with a carved wooden mantel, and french doors lead guests into the elegant dining room, complete with a crystal chandelier and antique chimes that summon them to breakfast.

Around the landing of the extra wide staircase are old family pictures, and at the second floor landing the Pozniak's have lined the walls with vintage wedding portraits. Given the elegance of the inn, its name might seem out of keeping, but there really is a barnyard of animals behind the home, a mobile petting zoo Animal Ambassadors that visitors enjoy while they stay at the inn.

Your Hosts at The Barnyard Inn are Jerry and Pam Pozniak. Jerry is a retired chef who has been in the restaurant and hospitality business for over thirty years. Pam's expertise is with the animals. She operates the mobile petting zoo.
