week, you will feel like your in a home away from home. Outstanding

televisions, direct dial touch tone phones, and fax jacks in each

After many years of
authentic restoration, one can gather with business associates,
friends, or family in "the most ornate Queen Anne style cottage
still standing in southern Oregon..." This one-of-a-kind
2-bedroom Victorian cottage can be yours to enjoy, inside and out.
Most interior woodwork is original, with operable transoms and ornate
trim. Local architect, W.J. Bennett (1894-96), designed Waverly for
Joseph Shone, owner/operator of a planning mill specializing in the
manufacture of doors, windows, trim and moulding.
Waverly is
a fine example of outstanding design and craftsmanship produced before
the turn of the century. The kitchen and pantry wainscoting and trim,
have been painted and pinstripped to accentuate the oak counter,
cabinets, and applied plaster figurines. Between the dining room and
parlor is a beautiful red cedar archway with goldleaf carvings and
antique etched glass.
The bathroom features a claw-foot tub
with overhead shower. The Col. Chas. E. Lindburgh bedroom features a
private entrance, antique dresser, king canopy bed, and original
photos depicting one day in the life and times of Col. Chas. E.
Lindburgh during his famous flight around the world in the Spirit of
St. Louis. The Major Frank A. Flynn room has a queen canopy bed and
photos depicting the start of commercial aviation on the West Coast.
