Suite River B&B, located in the Cascade Mountains, is just an hour's drive from Portland or Hood River. Our guests are invited to relax in their very private suite with its own deck overlooking the gardens, mountains and river. Or they may want to take a stroll down to the river to fish, enjoy the serenity of the water and woods, or sit on a rock and be still.

Our one suite allows us to offer our guests individualized service. The bedroom has a queen size bed with a hand crocheted coverlet in the summer and a down comforter in the winter. A rocking chair and comfy loveseat make the sitting room a wonderful place to take a look at a variety of magazines, play a game, or just do nothing. The spacious private bath has a double spa tub, shower, thick towels, guest robes, and a variety of soaps for our guests' enjoyment.

If conversation is desired, we are alway around with a hot drink by the fire in the winter, or a cool drink in the gardens in the summer. We feel that meeting new people is the best part of being innkeepers.

A full breakfast is served, chosen from a menu. It is served on a lace tablecloth with silver, china, crystal, and fresh flowers. Our guests pick the time.

Activities in the area include: year-round skiing on Mt. Hood, golfing, kyaking, swimming, hiking, canoeing, fishing, shopping, snowmobiling, and rafting.

The restaurants in the area rival those in Portland. A variety of cuisines are available, including: Italian, Chinese, Mexican, and American.
