Haus Bavaria

        Haus Bavaria is a European-style guest house, built in 1980. It is located on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The lake, a short walk away, provides a private beach and swimming pool for guests.

        Each of the five upstairs guest rooms opens onto a balcony, offering views of the surrounding mountains, while the living room, with its rustic wood paneling and collection of German bric-a-brac, retains the Alpine charms set in place by the original owners.

        A full breakfast, served daily in the cozy dining room downstairs, includes fresh baked goods, seasonal fruits and juices, fresh-ground coffee, and a selection of teas.

        Enjoy golf, water sports, and hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter at near-by Diamond Peak, Mt. Rose, and Heavenly Valley. Evening entertainment is only minutes away at the nearest casino.
