Our Inn is a blend of sweeping mountain views and closeness to town and is unequaled by any lodging in the area. Orinda is an updated and enlarged adobe.

The home sits in a valley just below town. It is surrounded by pastures and giant cottonwood providing country privacy, yet only a 15 minute walk to the famed Taos plaza with its excellent restaurants, galleries and museums.

In the Main house, a healthy, home-cooked breakfast is served family- style at a sky-lit table in a gallery showing the talents of local artists and early century Navajo rugs. The large living room provides guests with a library and media center, a cozy kiva fireplace nook and Taos Mountain framed in our immense picture windows. In the summer, relax in a hammock under cool cottonwood and elm trees on the huge lawns. In the winter, curl up in front of the wood stove in the sunroom and swap ski stories.

Directions to the Inn: From Albuquerque (2 1/2 hours): take I-25 North, to Hwy. 285 North to Santa Fe, Hwy. 68 (Paseo del Pueblo Norte) North to Taos. At the Civic Plaza Drive traffic light, turn left. Go to stop sign (Camino de la Placita). Turn right to 1st left, Valverde St. You will see the Orinda and children's crossing sign, turn right. Our drive drops down the hill to right at sign.
