Looking for the real Santa Fe?  Tucked away down a dirt lane in the historic Eastside, this adobe compound will provide you the private retreat and the Santa Fe charm you seek.  With only two units, the B&B suite in the main house and the Casita, the two bedroom guest house next door, Dunshee’s is one of the smallest, most intimate B&B’s in  town, yet each unit is incredibly spacious. Both have traditional New Mexican features--kiva fireplaces, antiques, Mexican tile, vigas, private gardens--combined with modern amenities and the artist/owner’s personal touches: fresh flowers, a wonderful art collection, homemade cookies, good books and great breakfasts.

While each unit is comparable in size, style, amenities and price,  each has distinct advantages.  If there are only two of you and you are into full gourmet breakfasts, a lot of outdoor space and a hostess every morning, the suite is for you.  If you are more independent types, have kids or want the extra bedroom or kitchen, the Casita would better meet your needs.  The Casita is also good for extended stays as there is the kitchen and a weekly rate with reduced services.
