Founded as a summer resort in 1875 Highlands has from its beginning been a haven for southerners anxious to escape the summer heat. The altitude and climate offer a comfortable retreat from the fast pace of city life.
The separate living room affords a spacious area for easy entertaining with a wet bar, microwave, refrigerator, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. It quickly converts to a second bedroom with a queen sleeper sofa. In the bedroom, you have a choice of two extra large twin beds or a king bed. A fireplace in the bedroom is also an option for additional warmth on cool mountain nights. Each bath has a whirlpool tub to soothe tired muscles and just because details make a difference, each suite has two telephones, two televisions and a VCR.

Our hospitality room is a great gathering place for guests. Available for private functions, it also serves as the morning breakfast room and evening reception room.
