Whaleback Inn has long been known for its special Northern Michigan ambiance - frequent glimpses of white tail deer, raccoons, fox, our beautiful wild flowers, birds, and, of course, the spectacular sun that rises over Lake Leelanau. We are open all year in order to offer you many northern delights that are part of the Whaleback experience. We also offer casino and ski packages and have gift certificates available for that special friend or family member.

The Efficiencies sit behind the main lodge and have a quiet, wooded setting. The building has three apartments in knotty-pine with a queen-size bed, a queen sofa sleeper, kitchen and a fireplace. There is also a full cedar sauna and hot springs therapy tub for general use in a separate building overlooking Lake Leelanau.
