The Seymour House is a beautiful brick Italianate-style mansion built by William H. Seymour in 1862 and remains one of the finest homes in the area.

The Seymour House offers you a choice of five creatively theme-decorated rooms, all with private baths, some with fireplaces or Jacuzzi, queen and king size beds. A 1920's guest log cabin overlooks the pond and is available for a more rustic experience. The B&B and the cabin are centrally air conditioned.

All rooms have private baths with showers. All rooms look out over spacious grounds and magnificent large trees. All rooms are $10 higher on weekend nights during July and August, plus some holiday weekends throughout the year. Two or three night minimum May 1 - October 31 and holiday weekends or special events.

Breakfast time is a special time at The Seymour House and here's what you can expect: A beautifully set table with coordinating colors in placemats, napkins, dishes and centerpice. A special blend of fresh-ground coffee, juice, muffins or bread, and a hot entree A typical breakfast might include English popovers with cinnamon sugar, cantaloupe wedges, and blueberry buttermilk pancakes, pure Michigan maple syrup and link sausages. With advance notice we will accommodate special diet needs. There are 2 breakfast seatings on weekends when full, otherwise we are flexible with breakfast times. You sign up for a breakfast time when you check in. A private breakfast in our Sunroom May-October, weather permitting .
