The Old Fort Inn
The Old Fort Inn is one of
Kennebunkport, Maine's exceptional Country Inns and secret treasures. The unique
combination of yesterday's charm and today's conveniences entice many guests to
return to the Inn year after year and recommend it to thier friends.
The elegant guest rooms are located in a
turn-of-the-century carriage house built of red brick and local stone. The rooms
are furnished with a meticulous eye for detail, including canopy and four poster
beds. All rooms feature wet bars, color cable television, air conditioning,
phones, private bath (some Jacuzzis), King, Queen, or double beds (2).
The Lodge is located in a converted barn that is
decorated with antiques which complement the exposed beams, weathered pine wall
boards and massive brick fireplace. In the tradition of Early American Inns, a
tempting Buffet Breakfast (" ... Country French Style, served al fresco -
weather permitting ... ")* served each morning in the Lodge.
The Old Fort Inn features a large fresh water pool,
private tennis court and a large well maintained grounds. The Inn location is a
