Lighthouse beacons, lobster boats, and islands covered with fir trees provide the setting for our cozy 5-room Bed and Breakfast on the prettiest shore of the Harbor. Country quilts and stencilling set the style inside. Breakfast features a baked cheese omelet or perhaps a baked orange French toast or blueberry blintzes. Enjoy an intimate table for two or sit with guests from all over the world at an ocean view window.

The lawn slopes down to the water ending with a pier and float. Within a 5-minute walk are shops, boat trips, Monhegan ferry and many fine restaurants. Within an hour's drive are white, sandy beaches, maritime museums, and the famous L.L. Bean and Freeport shopping outlets.

Your host, Captain Bob, operates Balmy Days Cruises, excursion boats for the popular day trip to Monhegan, Harbor Tours, and sailing trips. Guests receive a "special" fare discount on the Harbor Tour. When Diane isn't at the B & B she'll be found sailing in the Harbor or at the boats at Pier 8.

Bob and Diane live in the house next door. During the off season, the Anchor Watch kitchen is available for guests to use for snacks, or even cooking lobsters.
