Wood's Hole Passage Inn

This graceful, 100-year old carriage house and renovated barn sits on spacious grounds, surrounded by old shade trees, raspberries and blueberries.

Woods Hole Passage is close to all the spring and summer fun of Cape Cod. And in the off-season, it provides an atmospheric retreat for writers, artists, students, and those who enjoy the evocative autumn and winter moods of this very special place.

Relax in your graciously appointed room, each with private bath. Our guest rooms have their own distinctive flair and supplied with ample amenities.

There's nothing quite as beautiful as the slants of light on a Cape Cod morning. At Woods Hole Passage, you can catch the sun with breakfast by a huge multi-paned window, or invigorate yourself with breakfast on our patio overlooking the grounds.

And what a breakfast! Breakfast includes such items as: home-baked breads, bagels, fresh-fruit, quiche or souffle, juices and fragrant coffee or tea, served from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. And if you're leaving earlier to enjoy the day or catch the ferry, your "breakfast-to-go" bag with fruit, muffin and juice will be on the table, ready for you to grab it and go!

Part of Cape Cod's fascination is that its moods and atmosphere are so changeable. Whether you're looking for an exciting, activity-filled day, or a peaceful interlude from your everyday world, the Cape has something special for you. And Woods Hole Passage is located close to all of it.

A short walk through the woods brings you to an elevated rock-outcrop overlooking a warm-water beach. The ferry to Martha's Vineyard is only minutes away, and you can buy your ticket here. You will be close to the famous Shining Sea Bike Path, the Nobska Lighthouse and the Aquarium at Woods Hole Institute, shopping and dining in town, fishing, golfing, or the beaches of Buzzard's Bay and Nantucket Sound.
