Twin Oaks Inn On Martha's Vineyard

The Captain Dexter House of Edgartown

The Dutch Colonial styled Twin Oaks Inn was built in 1906 and is within walking distance to the ferry, downtown shopping, cinema, recreation and bike path, but is tucked cozily off the road, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. In the main house, there are two spacious antique-filled bedrooms, each with a private bath. One of those rooms is a large suite. There are also two other smaller rooms that share the largest bathroom in the house. One of those rooms is a small suite. There is an attached one bedroom apartment with its own entrance, fireplace, sunroom and complete kitchen and bath.

A pink and blue floral theme is found throughout the house. We serve a complimentary continental-plus breakfast each morning, which includes the Innkeeper's homemade "Twin Oaks Inn" Morning Crunch Granola.

The Innkeeper, Doris L. Clark, is a 25-year veteran flight attendant with United Airlines. She flies primarily to South America and takes vacations during the summer months to be at Twin Oaks Inn during the busiest season. The rest of the year she bids her flight schedule around reservations.
