the city. Located near downtown Chicago, it is within walking distance
from many delightful restaurants, bars, coffeehouses, galleries, music
venues and unique shops in the Wicker Park and Bucktown neighborhoods.
A
charming brick, two-flat decorated with antiques, original art and
family heirlooms, The House of Two Urns offers the conveniences and
comforts of home while you are visiting or working in Chicago and has
earned its name from a recurring motif in its stained glass and
rooftop decorations. The building was originally built as a storefront
coin and stamp shop in 1912 with the B&B located in what was the
original owner's flat on the second floor and is a traditional
Victorian layout.
Each of the guestrooms will greet you with
either one full- or one queen-size bed, in-room phone, tv, alarm/clock
radio, hair dryer, terry robes, slippers and irons and ironing boards
are either in rooms or available. The guestrooms have semi-private
baths, shared with just one other guestroom and two sitting rooms
afford comfortable lounging space and a kitchen is available with
complimentary teas, coffee, sodas. Garden fresh fruits grace the
expanded continental breakfast of freshly baked breads; homemade jams
and marmalades; orange juice; coffee or tea.
