Tropical, peaceful, natural paradise on a 7 acre coffee and macadamea plantation.. all accommodations have private baths, entrances, TVs, refrigerators. Kayak rentals. free snorkeling gear. located 1200" above Kealakekua Bay.

All rooms and cottages are comfortable, new and bright. Each unit has its own private bath and entrance, equipped with Color cable TV, refrigerators, (some have VCRs). There also is a "Jungle Kitchen" (Gazebo) available to all our guests, with a large BBQ, microwave, double burner, coffee maker, etc. A delicious, tropical breakfast is served on Monday throught Saturday on our ocean view lanai. (Fresh farm grown fruits and juices, plantation coffee, teas, daily specials, home made bread and jellies). No breakfast will be provided on Sundays. (Coffee and tea supplies plus fruit or juice will be available in the "Gazebo Kitchen")

The Rainbow Plantation bed and Breakfast is located about 17 miles south of Kona Airport, about 10 miles south of Kailua- Kona town, and a few feet from Napopoo Road, that leads to Kealakekua Bay. The elevation is at 1200'. The climate is gentle and comfortable. There are many native bays and beaches nearby, especially Kealakekua Bay, (Captain Cook Monument), a marine sanctuary and a snorkeler's paradise. You may enjoy swimming or kayaking with the dolphins, sea turtles and the colorful fish in clear blue Hawaiian waters. A hiking trail to Captain Cook monument starts on top of Napopoo road, just a few feet away from Rainbow Plantation. Kayak rentals are available right here at the plantation.( Easy, to strap on top of your car). Snorkeling gear may be used by our guests free of charge.

Marianna and Reiner Schrepfer enjoy catering to their guests, making them comfortable, and guiding them through the island with inside tips. They also speak German, French and some Spanish.
