Our B&B is in small and friendly Kailua, a beach town on the windward (NE) side of Oahu. Kailua is the perfect get-away location. We have miles of Hawaii's most beautiful and uncrowded white sand beaches -- just an eight-minute walk from your front door. Shopping, restaurants, golfing, tennis, and other immediate needs are close by. Most of our guests, and many return year after year, choose Akamai for our quiet, private, convenient and spacious accommodations away from the hassles and concrete of downtown Waikiki. Kailua is also the perfect get-anywhere location. Oahu is only 40 miles tip-to-tip, so you can explore it all quite easily. Honolulu and Waikiki are just a half-hour away. As your hosts, we will help you discover and enjoy our beautiful island.

On a quiet and separate wing of our house are two large, comfortably furnished, nonsmoking studios. Each has its own private entrance, bathroom, cable TV, radio and phone. We do not serve meals, but we do stock your room with breakfast foods and fruits for three mornings to enjoy at your own pace. Your kitchen area has a full-size refrigerator, light cooking appliances, dishes and flatware. Just outside your back door, you can enjoy the lovely tropical setting of our lanai and pool.

Rates for couples are $75 per night per room plus 10.17% state hotel and excise taxes. We request a deposit to confirm reservations and we will need your arrival and departure times. Please make your reservations early to reserve your first choice of dates; we have a three-night minimum.
