Eden House was the answer. As I entered the lobby, a Floridian Deco hotel of the 20's flashed before me. Fan blades slowly moving the breezes.

10:37 a.m. Next day. Awakening to the palm-patterned sun breaking across the foot of my bed. I was beginning to relax. The day was my choice. Another swim. The warm relaxing jacuzzi. Exploring the island on bicycle. An exciting snorkeling trip. And not to be missed, Sunset.

Another day, or many days later. No special time. It could be 1952, 1978 or now. It doesn't matter. Time has a way of stopping when you're truly at ease. Island time they say, grows on you like a dream. I'm relaxed now.

2:04 p.m. Settling into my room, I was exhausted. I needed this getaway more than I knew. A refreshing dip in the pool. Sunshine and an inviting lounge chair was much needed therapy. A short afternoon nap in a hammock beneath the palms, then of course Happy Hour was calling. Met some people. Swapped some tales. The evening melted away.
