The Mulino dell'Opera, a working water mill as recently as 1960, has been fully renovated and is lavishly decorated and furnished throughout. It is a member of the Wolsey Lodge association whose houses are, to quote...

"Wolsey Lodges are neither hotels nor B & B's. They are private houses where you are a private guest. Guests are entertained as family and will often dine with their hosts, as well as with any other guests who may be staying."

The mill has a 'honeymoon-style' double-canopied bedroom (Titania) with shower bathroom, a twin/double bedded room (Ariel) with tub bathroom and balcony, and a suite/"granny flat", which has a smallish double bedroom upstairs, and a shower bathroom, kitchenette and loggia, where there is a single bed (and cot, if necessary), downstairs. "Romeo" also has an "arbour" for outside lounging and has been designed with couples,who have up to 2 small children in mind (baby alarms/bath/etc., are available). We are located roughly 30K north of Lucca and 7K from Bagni di Lucca.
