GRAY'S AVENUE HOTEL was built in 1886 and opened as the "Avenue Hotel." Over the years this three-storied Queen Anne Shingle Victorian has served as a Hotel, a boarding house, an apartment building, a lodge and as a private residence. Many antiques grace the interior adding to the Victorian atmosphere. The Gray family restored the Inn in 1984 and opened the first Bed & Breakfast in Manitou Springs.

The Inn is conveniently located in the foothills adjacent to Colorado Springs. It is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Situated at the foot of Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs is the hub for attractions in the area including the Cog Railroad to the top of Pikes Peak, the Air Force Academy, The World Arena, the Olympic Training Center and the Colorado Springs Airport, all of which are within a 30 minute drive.

Gray's Avenue Hotel welcomes family reunions and small groups. The large common rooms; living room,dining room and front porch provide areas where guest may mingle and relax. The library features a Manitou native greenstone fireplace, TV/VCR with over 200 movies and a CD player. The eight man HOT TUB is outside and open all year.

All guest rooms are on the second and third floors. There are four rooms and three suites all with private baths. The rooms feature various bed sizes from twin to king plus dressers, comfy chairs, some window seats and lots of artwork. Room rates range from $60 to $75 double occupancy and include a full breakfast and afternoon refreshments. Extra guest in some rooms are $15 per person.
