The Edgewater is located on the East coast of the stable and popular island of Barbados -- just steps outside your door, in every direction, is a Nature Lover's and Photographer's Paradise! To the east, the Atlantic Ocean and its dramatic coastline, to the north, a 9-mile coral sand beach and national park, to the west, Joe's River and an 85-acre Rain Forest, to the south, the world famous surfing spot, the "Soup Bowls" on breathtaking Bathsheba Beach.

The Edgewater's rooms all feature parquet ceilings, mahogany furniture handcrafted on site by local craftsmen, and leaded, bevelled glass windows imported from the Orient, all contributing to the feeling of sleeping in a romantic, Old World inn.

All of our 20 rooms have either 2 twin beds or a king size bed with an ocean view. We have 2 room suites suitable for up to 4 persons, rooms with air conditioners, rooms with balconies, and 2 Honeymoon/Deluxe Suites with balcony and panoramic ocean views.
