Discover the ambience of this secluded setting in the heart of the Sonoma Valley wine district, less than an hour's drive north of San Francisco. Just a block and a half away from Sonoma's historic town Plaza, The Victorian Garden Inn lies amidst lush English gardens beside Nathanson Creek. The wrap-around veranda of this historical (1870) farmhouse is the perfect entrance into a gracious and romantic getaway, where privacy, comfort and hospitality combine to give you a Wine Country vacation you will never forget.

The restored Greek Revival farmhouse and water tower was built in the 1870's by an Italian-Swiss family named Bulotti. The Victorian Garden Inn was naturally named for its profusion of foliage, myriad of colorful flowers and shrubs, fruit-bearing trees, meandering stream, and moss covered walkways to secret rendezvous areas.

Meticulously kept gardens, tinkling fountains, gnarled trees, and the scent of citrus in the air have a hypnotic effect, luring guests to sit on the white wicker furniture on the wraparound porch to enjoy peace and tranquility.

Surrounded by greenery and restful patios, the large swimming pool is a refreshing way to end a day of sightseeing and wine tasting, or share a peaceful moment soothing tired muscles in the therapeutic spa.

The gourmet California breakfast features all the best of healthful Sonoma County products. Start your day with a tantalizing assortment of fresh fruit, scrumptious pastries and muffins, granola cereal, fresh hard-boiled eggs, delicious juices from The Cherry Tree, and our own blend of gourmet coffee and teas.
