Each cottage has an ocean view, private bath and fireplace; most have decks and some have kitchens. Comfortable and charming, each is decorated individually in a country cottage style with comfy beds, good lighting and quality furniture.

The Inn offers privacy and a care-free atmosphere where you can enjoy your vacation on your own schedule. Walk to Buckhorn Cove, sit in the gardens, see the waves break and the whales spout from your cottage. Walk among the ferns and giant cypress at Schoolhouse Creek. Watch the deer browse the meadow or contemplate a hummingbird from your deck; Relax in our Hot Tub at the top of the meadow while contemplating the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. Within hiking or biking distance (3 miles), the charming and historic village of Mendocino with its many fine galleries, restaurants and shops, is close by. The surrounding area offers rivers, harbors, beaches and spectacular state parks for exploring the natural beauty of the area, as well as wine tasting in the nearby Anderson Valley.
