On the Pacific Coast, near Santa Cruz and Monterey, the Inn at Manresa Beach lies nestled between lush green heather and strawberry fields, near spectacular beaches. The Inn was built in 1867 as a replica of Abraham Lincoln's Springfield home by the Thurwachters, a German farming family.

Today the Inn offers all of the activities and amenities of an oceanside resort combined with the privacy and personal attention of a bed and breakfast. Whether you enjoy playing tennis, walking on the beach, soaking in your spa tub or visiting with other guests, you'll find the Inn at Manresa Beach a wonderful place to relax and revitalize.

Two clay courts beckon the avid tennis player and amateur alike. USTA sanctioned tournaments and other tennis events for all levels of play are scheduled regularly. Volleyball, croquet or badminton can be played on the grass lawn. Doubles volleyball tournaments are held periodically throughout the year. Our library offers a selection of books and videos for curling up on your adjustable bed in front of the fireplace. Swim, surf, walk, or birdwatch at Manresa and Sand Dollar State beaches, a short walk from the Inn.
