The Victorian Farmhouse was built in 1877 by John Dennen for himself, his wife
Dora, and their family. It is operated year round as a Bed & Breakfast by
new owners, Jo Bradley and Fred Cox. A full gourmet breakfast, including our
signature coffee, is served to your room each morning. Breakfasts can consist
of quiches, stratas, eggs benedicts, streudels, and fritattas, accompanied by
fresh fruits and juices, homemade muffins and breads. Jo and Fred pride
themselves on catering to their guests' dietary needs.
The Inn is comprised of three buildings. The main house offers four guest rooms
and the lovely parlor where you can enjoy Home is Where the Heart is II, a
painting of the farmhouse by well-known painter Thomas Kinkade. The second
building includes the original Carriage House, as well as Forest View,
Seabreeze, Tree View, and Creekside Rooms. Tucked behind the other buildings,
the third building, affectionately known as the Barn, offers quiet seclusion in
the Wicker and Orchard View Rooms.
Whether you're in the area to visit nearby Mendocino, go whale watching, sample
some of the area's fine wines, or just to enjoy the views of the Pacific Ocean
and relax on our beautiful grounds, you'll find this area has all the
ingredients for a perfect vacation or romantic getaway.
