You'll wind your way up a quiet country lane past a mountain vineyard to our secluded getaway for two. With only a single cottage on our 5 1/2 acre estate, we offer our guests their own private little home (760 sq.ft.).Walk through a circle of majestic redwoods which opens up to reveal your hideaway. There are also oaks, madrones, bays and a 400 year old fir tree on the property. We are located adjacent to Jack London State Park at the 800 foot elevation on Sonoma Mountain. There is no traffic noise here. You will feel miles away from everything, yet you are only four miles from the charming village of Glen Ellen, and only six and one-half miles from historic Sonoma Plaza with its acclaimed restaurants, historical sites, state parks and world famous wineries.

Donna and Barry Swain have been creating living environments for people for most of their lives (designing and building homes). Their own home was featured in the 1991 issue of Home Magazine. "We are interested in fine surroundings, attention to detail and special touches such as pure cotton sheets, goose down comforter, luxurious robes and thick towels, wonderful lighting for mood and reading and fresh seasonal roses from the garden," says Donna.

In summer, sit outside on the lawn or dine under the wisteria covered patio, sunbathe on the large deck or just lounge in the hammock...all in complete privacy. Enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast, and at the end of the day, cross a wooden bridge and relax in a hot tub under the stars.
