Hallo Bay Camp is a privately owned remote wilderness facility located in the Kodiak Coastal Unit of Katmai National Park on the wildlife rich and beautiful Alaska Peninsula. Designed for the true wilderness traveler, Hallo Bay Camp offers an unequalled seasonal variety of wildlife, coastal brown bears, birds, marine life and scenery opportunities without the crowds.

Hallo Bay Camp is frequently referred to by former adventure travel guests as a five star wilderness camp because of its sparkling clean atmosphere and simple Eco-functional ability to keep guests warm, dry, clean and safe in the heart of one of the most remote and wild wilderness areas in Alaska. This fact is accomplished without pollution to the environment and with limited impact upon the land and our precious wildlife. On a serious side, we know the five star rating is meant much differently than a similar rating attached to a luxury hotel. The design intent of Hallo Bay Camp was to create an acute awareness of the surrounding natural pristine beauty by being a part of rather than focusing attention on luxurious accommodations which leads to isolation from the environment.

Guest cabins are Alaska Weatherport design with wood floors and regular type doors. Heat is provided by "UL" approved heaters. Lighting is of two varieties, propane and 12 volt solar charged battery power. A double burner propane stove is provided for cooking as is cookware and eating utensils. Furniture is basic with tables, chairs, sink, and heavy-duty bunks. Bedding consists of large warm sleeping bags with removable liners, pillows and extra blankets.
