Historically, 7 Gables Inn was a fraternity house close to the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The modern 10,000 sq.ft. Tudor style home was built with 14 dormers/gables, and a number of decks for lounging. The entrance through the floral solarium into the antique stained glass decorated foyer with an indoor waterfall are just part of the unique architecture. Other features include cathedral ceilings, a small meeting room, and wine cellar.

Amenities include a full gourmet breakfast, served daily. Each room offers private Jacuzzi tubs, color cable TV/VCR's, individual phone lines, and fax/modem jacks. Laundry facilities, bikes, boats, luggage storage, a library of books and videos, and snacks are also available on the premises. A conference/banquet facility is also available for a fee.
